Terms and Conditions for Cocoon & Cradle
1. Introduction
By making a payment to Cocoon & Cradle, you acknowledge that these terms and conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Cocoon & Cradle. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use our services.
2. Services Offered
Cocoon & Cradle provides support and education related to breastfeeding, infant sleep, and early parenting, including:
Workshops for pregnant mothers focusing on breastfeeding and sleep.
Personalised sleep and breastfeeding consultations.
Online courses and memberships for ongoing support.
3. User Responsibilities
By engaging with our services, you agree to:
Follow safe sleep guidelines and recommendations.
Disclose any medical conditions that may relate to sleep or feeding, and consult your GP prior to any consultation if your baby has medical concerns beyond our scope of practice.
Use our services for personal, non-commercial purposes and not share personalised sleep or lactation plans with third parties.
4. Payment and Refund Policy
Full payment is required prior to all consultations and services.
Once a consultation has taken place, refunds cannot be provided.
If illness, unforeseen circumstances, or other ‘red flags’ prevent the consultation from proceeding, you have up to three months to reschedule.
Pauses can be made for illness, but must resume within one week unless otherwise agreed upon. It is the client's responsibility to initiate resumption of services.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you decide to cancel more than 7 days before your appointment, you are entitled to a refund minus a $50 administration fee or a credit towards future services.
Cancellations made within 7 days of an appointment are non-refundable as the slot cannot be rebooked.
If a scheduled consultation is missed without prior notice, the session is forfeited and non-refundable.
Follow-up calls as part of support packages must be scheduled in advance and used in consecutive weeks. Missed calls are forfeited.
If Cocoon & Cradle needs to reschedule a consultation due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer alternative dates or a full refund.
6. Support Period
Follow-up support must commence within one week of receiving your sleep or lactation plan unless otherwise agreed.
Support is available Monday-Friday via email and scheduled calls, unless otherwise agreed upon..
It is the client's responsibility to book follow-up calls, which must be used consecutively within the support period.
Guidance emails must be initiated by the client. If no emails are received, we will assume no further troubleshooting is needed.
7. Limitation of Liability
Cocoon & Cradle provides educational content and support.
Consultations do not replace medical care, and clients should seek professional medical advice for any health-related concerns.
We cannot be held liable for any outcomes related to bedsharing, as clients agree to follow the Safer Bedsharing Guidelines provided by Red Nose Australia.
8. Guarantees
Any changes you implement in your baby’s sleep or feeding routine are at your discretion. We provide recommendations, but results vary depending on your baby’s temperament, sensory preferences, and any underlying conditions.
We do not use cry-it-out, controlled crying, or modified versions of these techniques. Our approach is evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and responsive.
If at any point a client chooses to use a sleep training method that contradicts our approach, we reserve the right to discontinue services.
9. Equality & Non-Discrimination Policy
Cocoon & Cradle is committed to inclusivity and does not discriminate based on age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, parenting style, family dynamic, disability, cultural beliefs, or religion. If there are any considerations you would like us to be aware of, please let us know before your consultation.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
