Motherhood was never meant to be done alone.

The Cocoon Circle is a small, intimate support space for mothers navigating feeding, sleep, and early motherhood from babyhood into toddlerhood — without sleep training, pressure, or all the noise of conflicting advice.

Now open · 3 month minimum commitment · Limited spots available

You've done everything right. And you're still exhausted.

You’ve done the Googling.
Saved the posts.
Listened to the podcast.
Asked in the group chat.
Second-guessed yourself 14 times before breakfast.

And still…

You’re left trying to figure out feeding, sleep, and motherhood in a world that keeps telling you to ignore your instincts.

Stretch the feeds.
Stop feeding to sleep.
Don’t respond too quickly.
Get them sleeping through.
Try this schedule.
Try that program.

It’s loud.
It’s confusing.
And for many mums, it feels incredibly lonely.

Especially when your baby is older and you thought things would be easier by now.
Especially when everyone else seems to be doing something different.
Especially when you know in your gut that sleep training and rigid routines aren’t the path for you.

You don’t need more noise.

You need qualified, ongoing support in a space that actually gets it.

Welcome to The Cocoon Circle

The Cocoon Circle is an intimate, expert-led support space for mothers who want calm, evidence based, instinct led guidance with feeding, sleep, and early motherhood.

This is not a passive membership.
It’s not a one-off consult.
And it’s not another place full of generic advice, rigid rules, or pressure to do things that don’t feel right.

It's a small, intentional space where you can bring the real stuff — the overwhelm, the doubt, the mental load, the 2am "is this normal?" spiral — and receive qualified support from someone who actually knows your situation.

Inside The Cocoon Circle, you'll be guided by Melissa Hays: International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Holistic Sleep Coach, Orofacial Myologist, Paediatric Nurse, Midwife, and mother of three — alongside a small group of like-minded mothers walking a similar path.

Why The Cocoon Circle is different

Most mothers are offered one of three things:

◦ A one-off appointment when things hit breaking point
◦ A cheap, passive membership they never really use
◦ Advice that asks them to override their instincts and their baby's biology

The Cocoon Circle is none of those things.

It's ongoing, expert-led, community-supported care — the kind most mothers never receive but almost all of them need.

Support that helps you:

◦ Make sense of what's actually going on with your little one
◦ Stop spiralling in conflicting advice
◦ Feel calmer and more confident in your decisions
◦ Navigate feeding and sleep without sleep training
◦ Feel less alone in the day-to-day reality of motherhood

This is continuity of care for the season after birth, and beyond the newborn stage too.

Because support shouldn’t disappear just because your baby is no longer tiny.

Here's what's waiting for you inside:

A personal welcome into the Circle
Before your first session, you'll complete a short intake form so Melissa knows your feeding and sleep situation from day one. This is followed by a personal 20 minute welcome call with Melissa in your first week — so you begin with clarity, not confusion, and you're not just a name in a group.

✔️ Weekly live support calls
A 45 minute call each week with a short teaching component followed by open conversation, real-time coaching, and genuine support. Replays sent out shortly after every session for those who can't make it live.

✔️
Direct access to Melissa, Monday to Wednesday
Ask questions, share what's happening, and receive qualified, thoughtful guidance from an IBCLC, midwife, and sleep coach who actually knows your situation. Support is available Monday to Wednesday — a structured window designed so you receive focused, considered responses rather than rushed replies.

✔️ The Cocoon Library
A curated collection of expert sessions on the topics that matter most in this season: tongue tie, breastfeeding at every stage, responsive sleep, night weaning, toddler challenges, and more. Evidence-based, easy to navigate, and there when you need it — including at 2am.

✔️ A circle of like-minded mothers
Because sometimes the most regulating thing is simply being in a space where nobody looks at you sideways for feeding to sleep, responding at night, or still breastfeeding a toddler. Shared experience is powerful. In the Circle, you'll have both community and qualified expert guidance — not one or the other.

What you can expect in your first 30 days.

Within your first month inside the Cocoon Circle, you will:

◦ Have a clear picture of what is, and isn't, biologically normal for your baby / toddler right now

◦ Understand exactly what's driving your feeding, sleep or motherhood challenges

◦ Have qualified, specific guidance that's tailored to your situation (not generic advice from a Google search)

◦ Feel genuinely less alone in what you're navigating

This isn't a promise of a perfect sleeper or a textbook feeder.

It's a promise that you will stop spiralling, and start moving forward with clarity and confidence.

Who The Cocoon Circle is for.

This is for you if:

✔️ You're looking for a space that feels intimate, safe, and genuinely supportive

✔️ You want calm, expert guidance that actually aligns with your instincts

✔️ You're tired of piecing it together on your own

✔️ You're craving continuity of care, not just a one-off consult

✔️ You do not want to use sleep training

✔️ You want qualified support with feeding, sleep, and early motherhood in one ongoing place

This is probably not for you if…

✗ You're looking for a quick fix or a rigid sleep plan

✗ You want sleep training support

✗ You want a large, low-cost, low-engagement membership

✗ You're not in a position to show up and engage with ongoing support

Most families prepare for birth. Very few are supported through what comes after.

Families spend thousands on prams, bassinets, carriers, cots, and gadgets.

And yet the months after birth — and the years that follow — are often when support is needed most.
Because breastfeeding may be natural, but that doesn't mean it's easy.

Baby sleep may be biologically normal, but that doesn't mean mothers should have to navigate it alone.

And toddlerhood doesn't suddenly make the need for support disappear.

Mothers deserve more than one appointment, one PDF, and a panicked midnight Google search.

Hi, I’m Melissa.

I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Holistic Sleep Coach, Orofacial Myologist, Paediatric Nurse, Midwife, and mother of three.

For well over a decade, I've supported families through feeding, sleep, and the transition into motherhood — in public hospitals, in private practice, and through my own lived experience.

I know what it feels like to be highly qualified and still second-guess yourself when it's your own baby.

I know how overwhelming and noisy this space can be.

And I know that most mothers don't need more fear, more shame, or more rigid rules.

They need accurate information. Nervous system safety. Ongoing support. And permission to trust themselves.

That's exactly why I created The Cocoon Circle.

The Cocoon Circle is now open.

This is an intimate, always open support space, because mothers' needs don't follow a launch calendar.

When you need support, the door is open.

Spots are intentionally limited to keep the space small, personal, and genuinely supportive.

Investment: $297 AUD/month · 3 month minimum commitment

After your initial three months, you're welcome to continue for as long as the Circle is serving you.

What's included when you join.

Every mother who joins The Cocoon Circle receives:

A personal 20 minute welcome call with Melissa
So you begin with clarity, not confusion. Melissa will know your situation before your first group session. You won't just be a name in a group, Melissa will know your story.

Your rate locked in for life
As long as you remain a member, your monthly rate will never increase. The sooner you join, the longer you save.

Full Circle of Security Parenting program (for mothers joining in April 2026 only)
8 weekly sessions run by a qualified Circle of Security facilitator, included for all members at no extra cost. Typically valued at $300 to $500 per person. Session timing will be arranged to suit the group.

Is The Cocoon Circle worth $297 a month?

Here's what a single appointment with Melissa costs outside of the Circle:

◦ Initial Lactation Consult (60–90 min): $329
◦ Return Lactation Consult (60 min): $259
◦ Cocoon Call (60 min): $259
◦ Cocoon Sleep Support: $559
◦ Cocooned Signature Sleep Package: $779

A single appointment, even a return consult, gives you one session, once.

Inside the Cocoon Circle, you get ongoing access to that same level of expertise week after week, direct support between sessions, and a community of mothers who genuinely understand what you're navigating.

$297 AUD/month. Less than $10 a day. Less than a coffee and a muffin at the park with another mum — and less than the cost of a single initial consult, every month.

Members who join in April 2026 also receive a full Circle of Security Parenting program. 8 weekly sessions with a qualified facilitator, typically valued at $300 to $500 per person, included at no extra cost. That's potentially $500 in additional value included in your membership this month.

What mothers say about working with Melissa.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Is this only for newborn mums?

Not at all. The Cocoon Circle is for mothers navigating feeding, sleep, and motherhood from babyhood into toddlerhood. Many mothers don't find this kind of support until later, and they're absolutely welcome here.

How is this different from the old Cocoon & Cradle Club?

The Club was broad, low-cost, and low-touch — and honestly, it wasn't delivering the kind of transformation I wanted for mothers or for me. The Cocoon Circle is intentionally small and personally guided, built around continuity of care. It's a fundamentally different level of support.

Is this a sleep training program?

No. The Cocoon Circle is for mothers who are attachment-focused and don't align with sleep training.

Is this a course?

No. This is an ongoing, expert-led support space with live calls, direct access to Melissa, and a curated resource library. It is designed to feel supported and engaged — not passive.

What if I need more individual support?

For mothers wanting additional one-to-one support, private consults with Melissa are available separately if needed.

Why is there a 3 month minimum?

Because real change, in feeding, sleep, and confidence, doesn't happen in a week. The 3-month minimum exists to give you enough time to actually feel the difference. It's designed to protect you from dipping out before the support has had a chance to work. It's there for you, not for us.

That said, feeding and sleep challenges don't follow a 3 month timeline — and neither does motherhood. Many mothers find that the support they need evolves rather than disappears.

A mother who joins with a newborn navigating painful feeding will be a very different mother at 4 months facing her first sleep progression, at 6 months about to start solids, at 8 months navigating biting at the breast, at 12 months wondering what toddlerhood is about to bring.

The Circle is designed to grow with you.

After your initial 3 months, you're welcome to continue for as long as the space is serving you. Some mothers stay for 6 months. Some stay for a year or more. There's no pressure either way — but the door is always open.

Will there be replays if I miss a call?

Yes. All live calls are recorded and replays are sent out shortly after every session.

I'm in a different time zone — can I still join?

Yes. Weekly call times will be chosen with member locations in mind where possible, and The Cocoon Library and WhatsApp support are valuable between sessions regardless of time zone.

When does it start?

The Cocoon Circle is always open. Once you join you'll receive a welcome email with your intake form and all the details you need to get started.

You don’t need to keep doing this alone.

Not with the feeding questions.
Not with the sleep spirals.
Not with the mental load.
Not with the constant second-guessing.

The Cocoon Circle is here to offer the kind of support most mothers should have had all along.

A calm, intimate space.
Qualified expert guidance.
Less noise.
More clarity.
More confidence.
More exhaling.

The Circle is open now and spots are kept intentionally small to make sure the space stays intimate, connected, and genuinely supportive.
