In person workshop at BUMP Burleigh Heads on Saturday 18th January 10:45am-4:45pm AEST
Virtual workshop held over 2x 3hrs sessions Saturday 25th January & Saturday 1st February from 9am-12pm AEST both days
I know what it's like to feel lost in postpartum. When I had my first baby in 2017, I figured that breastfeeding would happen naturally, my baby would sleep when they were tired, and that maternity leave would be bliss.
Little did I know that none of those things would turn out to be true. Breastfeeding was hard AF*, my baby never slept like I was told he 'should', and that mat leave bliss felt like a lie.
But, all of that changed when I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & Holistic Sleep Coach.
The combination of these two qualifications, along with my experience as paediatric nurse & midwife, allowed me to transform my journey with my next two children.
Since then I've helped hundreds of mums to reach their feeding goals, get more sleep without sleep training, and let go of the 'shoulds' of early motherhood.
This one day workshop will help you reach your breastfeeding goals, understand biologically normal infant sleep, and allow you to *actually* enjoy this season, rather than wish away that first year like I did.
This one day workshop is unlike any other, and specifically designed to help you reach your breastfeeding goals, truly understand biologically normal infant sleep, and experience more freedom and joy in motherhood.
This one day workshop is perfect for pregnant mums, to help you prepare for the most transformative year of your life!
When I became a mother seven years ago, I had no idea postpartum would be this hard.
Even though I was a paediatric nurse & midwife, I quickly found myself where so many of my clients find themselves too:
Struggling with breastfeeding, absolutely exhausted, and feeling like a failure.
Fast forward and I've had my third child, not once felt sleep deprived even though she has been the most 'koala' baby out of them all, smashed all of my breastfeeding goals, and feel more joy and less stress now then I did with just one baby.
How did I do it? I stopped getting stuck down google rabbit holes at 2am (which left me even more confused and overwhelmed), and instead invested my time and money to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Holistic Sleep Coach.
I did the hard work so you don't have to. Inside this one day workshop, I'm handing over my postpartum blueprint to YOU so you can reach your feeding goals, get more rest for the whole family without resorting to sleep training, and *actually* enjoy motherhood.
That is it, my friend.
No more feeling like a failure. No more winging it. No more doing it alone.
Let's take your postpartum to the next level.

Learn exactly how to get breastfeeding & sleep off to the best start!
You've now prepared for early postpartum. You've got this!
Once you're on the inside you will...
You may not realise it while you are pregnant, but from the moment your little one is born you will be bombarded with sleep advice.
The problem is that most of the sleep advice you'll find is not based off any actual evidence, or research on what our babies actually need.
Understanding biologically normal infant sleep is a game changer in terms of how you view and approach sleep!
No more strict schedules, spaced feeds, drowsy but awake, or spending your days patting and shushing a screaming baby in a pitch black room.
There is another way. A better way. And I'm here to show you how.
"Getting Mel's support and guidance was the best thing I have ever done. I can't even imagine how different and difficult my postpartum would have been without it. I definitely wouldn't have made it to a year breastfeeding or been able to get as much sleep"
- Ashley J. & Baby Finn
We know that while 9 in 10 (90.6%) babies start off breastfeeding, this rate consistently decreases in the weeks and months following.
By 6 months of age, less than 2 in 5 (37.5%) are still exclusively breastfed.
Only 5% of babies reach the World Health Organisation goal of breastfeeding up to 2 years or beyond.
With the right support starting in pregnancy and continuing throughout the first year, the chances of you reaching your feeding goals dramatically increase.
This is important for so many reasons, including health.
For baby, not being breastfed increases the risk of: gastrointestinal infections, respiratory infections, ear infections, SIDS, necrotising enterocolitis in premature babies, sepsis in premature babies, leukaemia, dental malocclusions, overweight and obesity, and lower IQ.
For mum, not breastfeeding increases the risk of: breast cancer, ovarian cancer, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke.
Apart from the health benefits, you'll quickly find that breastfeeding becomes the quick fix for absolutely everything.
Having the right support at the right time, is what will allow you to reach your breastfeeding goals.
