This is my ballad of sorts, an anthem of what I believe, how Raised Good began and a mere dose what I’d love to share with you if we were chatting over coffee.
This is my ballad of sorts, an anthem of what I believe, how Raised Good began and a mere dose what I’d love to share with you if we were chatting over coffee.
This is where you’ll find your tribe of natural parents, who will support, encourage and offer you advice free from judgment.
You won’t be pressured into quick fixes or solutions. You won’t feel as though your motherhood has been objectified or minimized into a set of checklists, comparisons or measurements.
You may then begin to wonder, if we’re not measuring motherhood in numbers like how many hours our baby sleeps, how often we breastfeed or at what age our child learns to read...then what are we left with?
That’s the real magic and wonder we’re seeking.
Because motherhood is not - it cannot - be measured in metrics. There is no standard measuring stick. Not truly, at least.
It is our job to tune into our motherly intuition, as faint of a voice as it may be at first, and understand why we choose to make the decisions that we do.
I for one, am far from perfect. But I can promise you that I will be here holding space for conversation, community and support, while sharing evidence-based research that helps us make sense of what we viscerally know to be true.
If we don’t learn to parent naturally and consciously, our confidence, mental health and connection suffers. Here you’ll find the resources and uplifting community you need to reclaim the wonder of motherhood and the joy of childhood, while deepening your family’s lifelong bond.
The icon in the Raised Good logo goes beyond the idea of the “mama bear” protecting her cubs, although we love it for that reason, too.
The spirit of the bear and its meaning can be attributed to First Nations culture and their belief about spirit animals that we share our earth with
Raised Good has partnered with Pacific Wild in their effort to protect wildlife along our coasts such as bears, wolves, orcas and salmon. Its co-founder Ian McAllister - who provided the bear and cub image above - is also an award-winning wildlife photographer and the inspiring author of six books.
Thank you for supporting us in this effort!
